Vivians first experience on the Oregon Beach.
On wednesday, August 5th, we all went to Cannon Beach. The weather mostly cooperated and Vivian had fun playing in the sand, putting her toes in the freezing ocean, and posing for our photo shoot.
As we wonder whether or not we give Vivian enough attention, play with her enough, and try to teach her basic human things like "Hi-5" and peak-a-boo... she has no clue and couldn't care less that we planned this whole day for her.

Vivian as of May19th
Vivian is now 4.5 months old and cute as ever. Lately she has been learning balance... isn't even close to sitting up all on her own, but we help her out with pillows and she tries. We've been able to get her to laugh by acting like psychos or tickling her. She has about 2.5 sets of thighs right now. Just in the past week or so she's been almost accidentally rolling from her belly to her back. I say accidental because although she'll do it once or twice, but it's like she doesn't remember that she knows how to do it. So sometimes she just throws a fit when we put her on her belly.

Vivian's First day at the office
She fussed almost the whole time she was at the office, but who can blame her? It was Friday afternoon. Who wants to be in an office on a friday afternoon? I think when she left she was thinking "T. G. I. F.!!!!"

Baby Vivian - Born 1/2/09...a couple days earlier and we'd have had a tax break!!!
We woke up at 4am as Alexis started having REAL contractions, then her water broke at about 4:15am. We arrived at Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital at 6am and at 10:34am Vivian was born 19.5" long and 6 lbs 14.9 oz
