"I wanna color pitcher", "daddy i wanna watch Dora", "I wanna [fill in the blank]". Oh, life with a 2 year old. It's fun and exciting, but it's also challenging and wearing. Dr. Dobson tells us in his book, Bringing Up Girls, that a toddler around this age is going through a stage similar to puberty where they get a rush of hormones. "No!" seems to be a major part of Vivian's vocabulary, so we're trying our best to teach her to be obedient and respectful.
We finally have finished our kitchen remodel that we started a year ago. I thought I'd finish it in a few months. Oh well. Working a full time (and sometimes more than full time) job and trying to live life really makes it hard to take on a large project and expect quick results. We are really pleased with the outcome. This is my second attempt at building cabinets, and I am improving for sure. Alexis designed the kitchen, I built it. She has VERY good taste in my opinion.
